Setting up FarPlay

I’m so excited to make music with you using FarPlay!

You’ll need three items:

• FarPlahy requires a Mac, Windows, or Linux laptop/desktop computer.
• Connect your computer directly to your router with an Ethernet cable. If your computer doesn’t have an Ethernet port, use an Ethernet adapter (for USB-C or USB-A). Don't plug into a wireless extender router or Powerline adpater. It’s fine to use a long Ethernet cable (Ethernet cables are designed to be 300 feet in length without signal degradation). Turn off Wi-Fi on your computer.
• Be sure to use wired headphones, and preferably an external mic too. The wired Apple EarPods that used to come with iPhones are fine and include an external mic.

If you're using a PC and we find there's too much delay using Windows Audio, let's switch to an iRig Stream Mic USB and use its low-latency Windows drivers.
